Istanbul Night Marathon

An unforgettable summer night experience took place on July 4, 2026. The Istanbul Night Marathon—our country's first night marathon—was held along the Sarıyer-Tarabya coastline!

This night marathon launched not only as a new race but also with a fresh format. The 42km and 21km events were run as team relays, while the 10K race was run individually. Participants from 32 different countries lit up the night along the Bosphorous route; it was the first time Sarıyer had witnessed such an event.

The countdown has begun

We’ve started the countdown to the 2nd edition of our international event!

Our inaugural event featured three different distances, while a total of 10 distance options await you next year. Starting in 2027, the 21K and 42K distances will also be available as individual races. The first edition of our event attracted significant international interest, with participants joining from 32 countries; our goal for future years is to increase that number. We feature the first registrant from each country on our social media channels. See you on July 3, 2027!

Course and Races

Our 10.5km course, starting from Çayırbaşı and continuing between Tarabya and Sarıyer, requires two runners for a half marathon, and four runners for a marathon.

42K - Marathon: Run by teams of four, with each team member completing the 10.5km course once.

21K - Half Marathon: Run by teams of two, with each team member completing the 10.5km course once.

10K - Fun Run: Run individually, 10.5km course completed once.
